In 1976 Somensi brothers decided to expand their activities in the cultivation of erva mate. Initially, the company sold only the erva mate and had no other products. Today, it operates all over Brazil, exports products to the Japanese, Paraguayan, German, Polish, French and South African markets and is recognized worldwide.
Indústria da Mate Laranjeiras is located in Laranjeiras do Sul, in the Brazilian state of Paraná. All their products undergo a rigorous inspection process. From harvest to transportation, the quality standards are followed to avoid any possible loss of taste, color or quality of the product.
